Before the class
Contact OPSMA to check the current schedule, age group and available spot. Art lessons are for children ages 5 and up. Tell the school your child’s age and whether they have taken art classes before so staff can help identify a suitable group.
Materials for regular class projects are included. Ask what to bring before the first visit, especially if your child has a project or material they want to discuss.
During the class
Classes last 60 minutes and take place in a small group. Students work on a guided project and practise drawing or painting skills. Beginners are welcome. The teacher offers support as students work.
Children can look at the skills taught in art lessons or learn more about drawing and painting before they start.
Price and enrollment
Regular 60-minute group art classes cost $25. Families may book one free trial class before choosing monthly enrollment. The one-time $25 registration fee applies when a student joins monthly lessons.
The first trial class is free. Contact OPSMA to ask about the next available trial class and reserve a place.
After the first class
If the class is a good fit, contact the school about continuing in the same group and the monthly payment schedule. Class times depend on age group and availability. The current schedule includes options for children ages 5–7 and children ages 7–11.

No. Beginners are welcome.
What should my child wear?
Regular project materials are included. Contact OPSMA if you have questions about clothing for a specific project.
